Overview & Mission

Women's Health Center of Oregon is a full service Obstetrical and Gynecological medical practice in Oregon offering women's health care services to Clackamas County, a population of 380,000, and the surrounding communities. The primary office is in Oregon City and occupies 13,000 square feet of space on the campus of Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. The office décor has bold and rich color schemes and a large fish tank aimed at inviting women into a welcoming, calm, and safe environment. Additionally, the medical group has a small, 1,500 square foot satellite office in Canby and the office décor purposely mirrors the main office in Oregon City in order for women to feel comfortable regardless of their visit location.

Our external values include: compassion, empowerment, service, respect, excellence, and community focus. With this mission and values, the medical clinic communicates the importance of working with women in a relationship to keep them as healthy as possible. The formation of a lifelong relationship was at the center of this thought. Additionally, the message is that the organization is innovative and that the medical providers continue to further their educations and use cutting edge procedures. Furthermore, Women's Health Center continues to grow in knowledge and services, and is a leader of community standards. It was also important to let women know that they could get comprehensive services all in one location. A woman can get her annual gynecologic exam, mammogram, dexascan and lab work all done in one location, and in one visit. Knowing that women are busy and taking the least amount of time necessary to complete these services was important to acknowledge. Lastly, providing a compassionate and safe environment for women to come to was important to communicate to women. All of these areas are goals of the organization and define the results it wants to achieve for women.

The organization serves a diverse population with backgrounds ranging from affluent to unemployed. The practice offers a variety of outpatient services, including annual well woman's exams, complete obstetrical care, mammography, bone densitometry, diagnostic ultrasound, in office procedures, and general gynecological care. Additionally, hospital ER coverage, inpatient consultations, and major gynecological surgery are provided.
